Tom Lee, head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors, connected the dots during a CNBC interview with a new Bitcoin price prediction: \u201cI think bitcoin can easily get to $200,000 before year-end. I know it\u2019s a big move. It\u2019s almost a double.\u201d<\/p>\n

His case rests on historical stock precedent<\/a> that in both 1998 and 2024, Fed easing cycles reignited equities in Q4, and Lee argues that top cryptocurrencies<\/a>, as \u201cbeta to equities,\u201d should follow suit.<\/p>\n

Lee added, \u201cBitcoin and cryptocurrencies like Ethereum are super sensitive to monetary policy. So, I think that September 17th is an important catalyst. Crypto typically does really well in the fourth quarter.\u201d \u2013 Tom Lee, Fundstrat.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
