{"id":48423,"date":"2025-09-19T09:31:40","date_gmt":"2025-09-19T09:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=48423"},"modified":"2025-09-19T09:31:40","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T09:31:40","slug":"ark-buys-162m-of-shares-in-sol-treasury-company-solmate-formerly-brera-holdings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=48423","title":{"rendered":"ARK Buys $162M of Shares in SOL Treasury Company Solmate, Formerly Brera Holdings"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>ARK Invest made an immediate splash on the latest publicly listed digital asset treasury company, buying just under $162 million worth of shares in Brera Holdings (BREA).<\/p>\n<p>The Nasdaq-listed sports club owner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/09\/18\/solmate-joins-solana-treasury-push-with-usd300m-funding-from-uae-investors-ark-invest\">rebranded as Solmate<\/a> as part of plans to build a digital asset treasury based on Solana&#8217;s sol (SOL) token, raising $300 million from United Arab Emirates-based Pulsar Group, according to a Thursday announcement.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/08\/14\/ark-invest-buys-more-than-2-5m-bullish-shares-on-day-of-nyse-debut\">it often does<\/a>, Cathie Wood&#8217;s investment firm got in on the ground floor, adding a total of 6.5 million BREA shares to three of its exchange-traded funds: Innovation (ARKK), Next Generation Internet (ARKW) and Fintech Innovation (ARKF), it said in an emailed disclosure on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>From trading at $7.40, BREA jumped as high as $52.95 <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/BREA\/\">before pulling back to close at $24.90<\/a>, a gain of over 225% on the day.<\/p>\n<p>SOL has ascended to its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/price\/solana\">highest price levels since January<\/a> this week, eclipsing $250 on Thursday.
