Fast forward to Dec. 30, 2024, with Bitcoin priced at $92,562 per token, that lost stash is now worth $740,496,000. While it falls short of landing him on the Forbes Billionaire list, it\u2019s still more than enough to afford a luxurious penthouse on Park Avenue in New York City or in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p>But lo and behold \u2014 spoiler alert \u2014 it turns out his ex-girlfriend actually threw the hard drive out, per his request to help him tidy up his house, according to a Daily Mail <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-14117759\/threw-away-569million-Bitcoin-fortune-council-tip.html\">article<\/a>.
