Economist Peter Schiff<\/strong> warned Thursday of a severe\u00a0bear market for Michael Saylor<\/strong>-led Strategy Inc.<\/strong>\u00a0(NASDAQ: MSTR<\/a>) and companies mimicking its Bitcoin<\/strong> (CRYPTO: BTC<\/a>) treasury play.<\/p>\n

Schiff Questions Saylor\u2019s \u2018Strategy\u2019<\/h2>\n

In an X post, Schiff questioned the viability of companies with large Bitcoin reserves.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile so many companies have been busy copying Saylor\u2019s harebrained business strategy, few have noticed that MSTR is down 45% from its Nov. 2024 high,\u201d Schiff said.<\/p>\n

He predicted a \u201cbrutal\u201d bear market for Bitcoin treasury companies, doubting that any, including Strategy, would survive.<\/p>\n

While so many companies have been busy copying @Saylor<\/a>‘s harebrained business strategy, few have noticed that $MSTR<\/a> is down 45% from its Nov. 2024 high. This is going to be a brutal bear market for Bitcoin Treasury companies. I’m not sure if any, including MSTR, will survive it.<\/p>\n
