It then triggered the subscriptions or redemptions in the Chainlink Digital Transfer Agent, according to a press release shared with CoinDesk.<\/p>\n<p>The setup lets banks access blockchain infrastructure using tools they already use, like Swift, while Chainlink\u2019s infrastructure handles the rest.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot builds on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/tech\/2024\/11\/05\/chainlink-ubs-asset-management-swift-complete-pilot-to-extract-cash-from-tokenized-funds\">previous work <\/a>from Project Guardian, a tokenization initiative led by Singapore\u2019s central bank. The latest development adds in interoperability that enables institutions to use Swift to trigger on-chain events.<\/p>\n<p>The launch comes after Chainlink announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/business\/2025\/09\/29\/chainlink-teams-with-major-financial-institutions-to-fix-usd58b-corporate-actions-problem\">separate pilot with 24 global banks<\/a> and financial infrastructure providers like DTCC and Euroclear.
