{"id":50991,"date":"2025-10-03T17:01:41","date_gmt":"2025-10-03T17:01:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=50991"},"modified":"2025-10-03T17:01:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T17:01:41","slug":"bitcoin-surges-above-123k-nearing-new-record-as-bullish-q4-sentiment-fuels-weeklong-rally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=50991","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin Surges Above $123K, Nearing New Record as Bullish Q4 Sentiment Fuels Weeklong Rally"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Bitcoin climbed to within close sight of new record high above $124,500, capping off a five-day rally that marks one of its strongest starts to October on record.<\/p>\n<p>Trading well below $110,000 last weekend, the crypto has climbed nearly 15% this week, including about 3% over the past 24 hours to the current $123,300.<\/p>\n<p>October has historically been a strong month for bitcoin, and this year appears to be no different as bullish sentiment returned in force heading into the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n<p>From July through September, bitcoin\u2019s price largely stalled, trading in a narrow range and underperforming stocks and gold, which seemingly hit new records on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>But momentum has shifted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis moment is different from previous ones,\u201d said economist Noelle Acheson, author of the Crypto is Macro Now newsletter. <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NoelleInMadrid\/status\/1974130645082259528\">In a post on X<\/a>, Acheson pointed to a mix of strong institutional participation and broader macroeconomic drivers as new forces shaping this cycle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn previous cycles we didn\u2019t have this level of sustained global debasement,\u201d she said, referencing the erosion of fiat currency value across major economies. Alongside that, she noted growing geopolitical uncertainty is encouraging a \u201cgradual pivot away from the U.S. dollar towards global, hard assets,\u201d with bitcoin positioned as a key beneficiary.<\/p>\n<p>While speculative enthusiasm is often part of crypto rallies, Acheson suggested this surge is being driven by deeper structural shifts \u2014 and could have staying power. This would be notably different from recent records in July and again in August, both of which were met violent selloffs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFOMO is a strong force in the crypto asset world,\u201d she said. \u201cWhat looks like the beginning of a new momentum wave will be driven by factors new and old.
