US futures trimmed earlier losses to trade slightly above the flatline on Tuesday, following Monday\u2019s mixed moves. Futures of major benchmark indices were trading higher.<\/p>\n

The Advanced Micro Devices Inc. <\/strong>(NASDAQ:AMD<\/a>) deal with<\/a> OpenAI <\/strong>fueled the rally in AI-linked stocks on Monday, which has been powering Wall Street\u2019s bull run this year.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump <\/strong>indicated willingness to work with the Democrats on healthcare and other policies, but only after they reopened the government<\/a>, which is in its seventh day of a shutdown that began on Oct. 1. The U.S. trade deficit data, which was supposed to be released today, will be delayed because of the shutdown. ,<\/p>\n

The 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.17% and the two-year bond was at 3.59%. The CME Group’s FedWatch tool<\/a>\u2018s projections show markets pricing a 92.5% likelihood of the Federal Reserve cutting the current interest rates in its October meeting. <\/p>\n

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust<\/strong> (NYSE:SPY<\/a>) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF <\/strong>(NASDAQ:QQQ<\/a>), which track the S&P 500 index and the Nasdaq 100 index, respectively, rose in premarket on Tuesday. The SPY was up 0.027% at $671.79, while the QQQ advanced 0.082% to $608.21, according to Benzinga Pro<\/a> data.<\/p>\n
