{"id":51775,"date":"2025-10-08T16:47:01","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T16:47:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=51775"},"modified":"2025-10-08T16:47:01","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T16:47:01","slug":"solanas-jupiter-to-develop-jupusd-stablecoin-with-backing-from-ethena-labs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=51775","title":{"rendered":"Solana&#8217;s Jupiter to Develop JupUSD Stablecoin With Backing From Ethena Labs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Solana-based decentralized exchange Jupiter is rolling out its own stablecoin, JupUSD, by the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The coin will be native to Solana and tightly integrated across Jupiter\u2019s ecosystem, including its perpetuals platform, lending markets, and trading interfaces, the DEX <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JupiterExchange\/thread\/1975929208049463384\">shared on X on Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>JupUSD is being developed in partnership with Ethana Labs, known for minting over $16 billion in stablecoins through their project.<\/p>\n<p>The stablecoin will be fully collateralized by Ethana Labs\u2019 USDtb, a stablecoin that\u2019s backed by treasury funds including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/markets\/2025\/06\/18\/blackrocks-29b-tokenized-treasury-fund-now-accepted-as-collateral-on-cryptocom-deribit\">BlackRock\u2019s USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund<\/a> (BUIDL).<\/p>\n<p>The team plans to add USDe as a secondary backing asset, aiming to boost yield potential.<\/p>\n<p>Smart contracts that allow minting and redemption of JupUSD are being built, Jupiter said, with multiple audits expected ahead of the launch.<\/p>\n<p>Jupiter, a Solana-based decentralized exchange aggregator that has since expanded its offerings, currently has $3.58 billion in total value locked according to <a href=\"https:\/\/defillama.com\/chain\/solana\">DeFiLlama<\/a>, making it the leading protocol on Solana.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Solana-based decentralized exchange Jupiter is rolling out its own stablecoin, JupUSD, by the end of the year.
