TerraWulf (WULF)<a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/WULF\/\"> is 5% higher pre-market<\/a> after a 10% surge on Thursday, bringing its YTD gain to 150%. Other notable movers include <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/CIFR\/\">Cipher Mining<\/a> (CIFR) <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/CLSK\/\">CleanSpark <\/a>(CLSK) and <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/BITF\/\">Bitfarms<\/a> (BITF), which all trade 2%-4% higher in pre-market.<\/p>\n<p>The total market capitalization of the miners is nearing $90 billion, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/farside.co.uk\/miners\/\">Farside<\/a> data, and on this current trend could surpass $100 billion by year-end if current momentum continues. <\/p>\n<p>The sector is also benefiting from broader trends, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-10-09\/microsoft-forecasts-show-data-center-crunch-persisting-into-2026\">Bloomberg<\/a> reporting that Microsoft\u2019s (MSFT) data center shortages will persist into 2026 due to soaring cloud and AI demand. <\/p>\n<p>Despite adding as much as two gigawatts of new capacity, Microsoft is still struggling to scale infrastructure quickly enough to meet demand.
