U.S. stock futures rose on Monday following Friday\u2019s sell-off. Futures of major benchmark indices were higher.<\/p>\n

Magnificent 7 stocks surged in premarket following President Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2018s de-escalation on Sunday<\/a>, saying, “Don\u2019t worry about China, it will all be fine,” adding that the “Highly respected President Xi just had a bad moment.” <\/p>\n

Asian markets tumbled<\/a> in trade on Monday, with major Chinese technology and auto stocks falling sharply in trade in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

The 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.03% and the two-year bond was at 3.50%. The CME Group’s FedWatch tool<\/a>\u2018s projections show markets pricing a 96.2% likelihood of the Federal Reserve cutting the current interest rates in its October meeting. <\/p>\n

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust<\/strong> (NYSE:SPY<\/a>) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF<\/strong> (NASDAQ:QQQ<\/a>), which track the S&P 500 index and Nasdaq 100 index, respectively, rose in premarket on Monday. The SPY was up 1.14% at $660.47, while the QQQ advanced 1.71% to $599.59, according to Benzinga Pro<\/a> data.<\/p>\n
