He also highlighted JPMorgan\u2019s deposit token prototype, JPMD<\/a>, which is designed to enable real-time, 24\/7 cross-border settlements, serve as on-chain collateral, and offer seamless integration with existing deposit systems.<\/p>\n

He also added that trading clients would also have the option of using stablecoins for transactions and exploring new blockchain-based financial workflows.<\/p>\n

Lucas\u2019s interview is a clear signal that JPMorgan wants to bridge traditional financial markets with blockchain infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, its research division said Bitcoin may be undervalued compared to gold<\/a> and that the Bitcoin-to-gold volatility ratio has fallen below 2.0, improving its risk-adjusted appeal.<\/p>\n
