The world&#8217;s largest cryptocurrency was trading around $111,700 at publication time.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/daybook-us\/2025\/10\/13\/recovery-after-usd500b-crash-sets-stage-for-q4-rebound-crypto-daybook-americas\">violent flash crash<\/a> hit crypto markets on Friday and erased more than $500 billion in value and forced nearly $20 billion in liquidations across derivatives platforms.
