{"id":52912,"date":"2025-10-15T07:16:52","date_gmt":"2025-10-15T07:16:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=52912"},"modified":"2025-10-15T07:16:52","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T07:16:52","slug":"were-at-the-beginning-of-tokenizing-all-assets-blackrock-ceo-larry-fink","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=52912","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re At The Beginning of Tokenizing All Assets: BlackRock CEO Larry Fink"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>\u201cI do believe we\u2019re just at the beginning of the tokenization of all assets, from real estate to equities to bonds, across the board,\u201d noted BlackRock CEO Larry Fink in an interview with CNBC on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=-LPit2bEWAo\">said<\/a> that the company has started focusing on \u201cmoving away from traditional financial assets by \u2018re-potting\u2019 them in a digital manner.\u201d\u00a0This way, investors could stay within the digital ecosystem, he added.<\/p>\n<h2>Next Wave of Opportunity<\/h2>\n<p>Fink envisions bringing some of the $4 trillion crypto market investment into traditional assets such as exchange-traded funds by tokenizing them and making them easier to access.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s $4.1 trillion of money sitting globally in digital wallets,\u201d he said before adding that a lot of that money is outside the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we could tokenize an ETF, you know, digitize that ETF, we could have investors who are just beginning to invest in markets through, let\u2019s say, crypto. They\u2019re investing in it, but now we could get them into the more traditional long-term retirement products.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He added that this was the \u201cnext wave of opportunity\u201d for BlackRock over the next ten years.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The thing that stood out to me the most from Larry Fink\u2019s interview this morning was when he said the next wave of opportunity for BlackRock is \u201cmoving away from traditional financial assets\u201d and making them digital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we can tokenize an ETF, we can have investors who are just\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/2javTBpe49\">pic.twitter.com\/2javTBpe49<\/a><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p>\u2014 Eleanor Terrett (@EleanorTerrett) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EleanorTerrett\/status\/1978111522971815953?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 14, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>BlackRock is no stranger to crypto or tokenization. It has the largest tokenized cash money market fund <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/major-crypto-exchanges-to-accept-blackrocks-buidl-fund-as-collateral\/\">called<\/a> BUIDL, which has $2.8 billion in assets under management. It also has the world\u2019s largest and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/heres-why-blackrocks-bitcoin-etf-buys-when-others-are-selling\/\">fastest-growing<\/a> Bitcoin ETF (IBIT), which has now surpassed $100 billion in AUM.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not about if the market\u2019s going up or down, or if there\u2019s a bubble in crypto or if there\u2019s a bubble in technology \u2026 It\u2019s about being in the market throughout the cycle,\u201d he told CNBC\u2019s Jim Cramer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>RWA Sector Outlook<\/h2>\n<p>The real-world asset tokenization sector is at an all-time high of $33.8 billion in on-chain value, <a href=\"https:\/\/app.rwa.xyz\/\">according<\/a> to RWA.xyz. That figure has grown 115% since the beginning of this year, and around half of it is tokenized private credit.<\/p>\n<p>Despite all of the FUD, Ethereum <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/americas-rwa-tokenization-drive-could-see-100t-on-ethereum-rails\/\">remains<\/a> the industry leader and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/how-ethereum-is-winning-the-rwa-tokenization-war\/\">standard<\/a> for asset tokenization.
