According to the official announcement, the deal was worth approximately $375 million.<\/p>\n<h2>Coinbase Acquires Echo<\/h2>\n<p>Echo, founded by one of the most popular crypto personalities<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">, going by the X nickname\u00a0<em>Cobie (real name Jordan Fish),\u00a0<\/em>is a capital-raising platform that allows its users to participate<\/span>\u00a0in early-stage crypto fundraising rounds.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coinbase.com\/blog\/coinbase-acquires-echo-unlocking-the-future-of-onchain-capital-formation\">According<\/a> to the announcement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Echo has already made strides in opening up private markets helping projects raise $200M+ over ~300 completed deals since launch.
