He can claim it at any time.<\/p>\n<p>I messed up in communicating with him. I got emotional, and I shouldn\u2019t have.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Since I joined MEXC 2 months ago I\u2019ve been fighting behind the scenes to get MEXC to\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Cecilia Hsueh (@cecilia_hsueh) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cecilia_hsueh\/status\/1984291339257647176?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">October 31, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The exchange froze about $3.1M in July, citing its internal \u201crisk control rules.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That move pushed White Whale to launch a $2M social media campaign against MEXC in August.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He later said the campaign budget grew to $2.5M after claiming the exchange asked him to fly to Malaysia to resolve the issue and have the funds returned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The White Whale replied to Hsueh\u2019s post, saying the apology \u201cdidn\u2019t specify what they were apologizing for.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He said it would have helped if MEXC had clearly addressed earlier public claims suggesting he was \u201ca criminal\u201d due to AML concerns, or a \u201cscammer\u201d based on later accusations that came even after those AML claims were disproved.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We Did It \u2013 Public Outcry Forces MEXC To Do The Right Thing<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t have a draft statement for this occasion, as I honestly never expected it to come.<\/p>\n<p>I did see the public apology, and while appreciated, it didn&#8217;t specify what they were apologizing for.
