Traces of Anna\u2019s blood were discovered at the villa and in a rental car, alongside knives used in the crime. Surveillance and phone data revealed that the killers attempted to mislead authorities by leaving the victims\u2019 phones active across Oman and South Africa. Still, the UAE and Russian investigations quickly uncovered the deception.<\/p>\n<p>Seven suspects have since been detained. Among them are Konstantin Shakht (53), a former homicide investigator turned drug smuggler, and Yuri Sharypov (46) and Vladimir Dalekin (45), both veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Authorities believe they were among the \u201cinvestors\u201d who organized the abduction to recover stolen funds.
