Jeremy Allaire<\/strong>, CEO of Circle Internet Group<\/strong>\u00a0(NYSE:CRCL<\/a>), said Wednesday that \u201cregulatory\u201d clarity provided by the GENIUS Act<\/a> was one of the major reasons behind the company\u2019s strong performance in the third quarter.<\/p>\n

GENIUS Act Impact?<\/h2>\n

During Circle’s third-quarter earnings call<\/a>, Allaire was asked about the USDC\u2019s <\/strong>(CRYPTO: USDC<\/a>) market share increasing to 29% from 28% in the prior quarter, and whether the passage of the GENIUS Act helped boost the stablecoin\u2019s demand.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw very strong growth in Q3. I think that growth has come from, yes, the regulatory clarity,\u201d he responded.<\/p>\n

Allaire added that technological advancements also played a big role, \u00a0and together, these factors led to more market activity, leading to the adoption of stablecoin by major financial institutions, payment firms, neo banks, and large enterprises.<\/p>\n
