They\u2019ve been linking up with some heavyweight names lately, including ICE, the company that owns the New York Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n<p>ICE actually planned to drop up to $2 billion into Polymarket last month, and since ICE Data Services feeds data to Yahoo Finance for markets and indices worldwide, this partnership makes a lot of sense. It\u2019s basically Polymarket piggybacking on infrastructure that\u2019s already plugged into one of the biggest finance platforms out there.<\/p>\n<h2>UFC and Polymarket Partnership Announcement at NYSE<\/h2>\n<p>Polymarket isn\u2019t slowing down. Just today, on November 13th, they dropped another massive partnership announcement, and this one\u2019s with the UFC under TKO Group Holdings. They even celebrated it by ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, which is a pretty big deal.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership makes UFC and Zuffa Boxing the first sports organizations to integrate real-time prediction market technology directly into live events. Landing UFC as a partner is huge because it\u2019s one of the most-watched combat sports in the world, giving Polymarket a massive high-profile entry point into the sports betting and entertainment space.<\/p>\n<h2>Kalshi Outperforming.. Their main rival, Kalshi, has been coming in hot. Over the past week, Kalshi pulled in $1.3 billion in notional trading volume compared to Polymarket\u2019s $1 billion, according to <a class=\"general-link\" href=\"https:\/\/dune.com\/datadashboards\/kalshi-overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dune Analytics<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a flip from a year ago when Polymarket was clearly leading during the presidential race hype. Kalshi made a smart move earlier this year by partnering with Robinhood to offer prediction markets to its users, with a focus on professional sports. Social gaming apps like MyPrize are getting into the game too. They are signing a distribution deal this week with Crypto.com\u2019s North American arm.<\/p>\n<p>Crypto.com\u2019s prediction markets are also being distributed through Underdog, a fantasy sports app, as well as other platforms. The competition between Polymarket and Kalshi is fierce, but some companies aren\u2019t choosing sides. When Google added prediction market data to Google Finance, they went with both platforms. The same thing happened when the NHL licensed its trademarks last month. They announced it to both Polymarket and Kalshi.<\/p>\n<p>Bottom line is, Polymarket is trying hard to expand its reach through big partnerships like Yahoo Finance.
