Economist Peter Schiff <\/strong>slammed Strategy Inc.\u2019s<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>MSTR<\/a>) Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>) investment approach on Thursday, arguing that the company would have been better placed had it chosen any other asset.<\/p>\n

Schiff Sees Problems For Strategy<\/h2>\n

In an X post, Schiff pointed out that despite spending over $48 billion on Bitcoin in the past five years, the company\u2019s total paper profits are less than 17%. <\/p>\n

Schiff also took a swipe at Strategy co-founder Michael Saylor<\/strong>, stating, \u201cHad Saylor bought just about any other asset, MSTR would have been better off.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also said that the company would \u201cvanish\u201d if it tried to take profits on its BTC holdings.<\/p>\n
