And Bitcoin\u2019s price discovery always goes vertical when derivatives scale.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Options contracts allow traders to speculate on prices without holding the asset; they do not offer direct exposure to the underlying asset as a spot ETF does.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin\u2019s Mag 7 Moment<\/h2>\n<p>Livingstone commented that the rule filing literally says they\u2019re doing this because IBIT has reached the same level of market cap, liquidity, and trading frequency as the biggest stocks.\u00a0This is the category reserved for Apple, Nvidia, Microsoft, etc, he said before adding, \u201cThat\u2019s the club Bitcoin is now in.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe market is formally treating Bitcoin as a top-tier global asset class with no liquidity constraints.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The change would benefit institutional traders by enabling larger hedging positions and income strategies while improving market efficiency through deeper liquidity, tighter spreads, and better price discovery.<\/p>\n<p>Livingston explained that banks can run structured products on Bitcoin without blowing through risk caps, \u201cwhich means BTC becomes collateral for an entirely new tier of financial engineering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstitutional volume is finally here,\u201d remarked ProCap BTC chief investment officer Jeff Park.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">At last, IBIT options is finally getting the treatment it deserves\u2014<\/p>\n<p>Nasdaq just filed to increase options limit to 1 MILLION (from 25k a year ago)<\/p>\n<p>Institutional vol is finally here<\/p>\n<p>Happy Thanksgiving <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vqH75rUTSf\">https:\/\/t.co\/vqH75rUTSf<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MpCHxHMW8q\">pic.twitter.com\/MpCHxHMW8q<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jeff Park (@dgt10011) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dgt10011\/status\/1993721948812230835?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 26, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>While the move would massively improve liquidity, it would also potentially increase leverage and volatility in Bitcoin markets, which could cause these wild price swings.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin ETF Outlook<\/h2>\n<p>BlackRock\u2019s IBIT fund saw its second consecutive day of inflows on Wednesday, with $42.8 million, as BTC started to recover.
