{"id":61990,"date":"2025-12-04T21:01:31","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T21:01:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=61990"},"modified":"2025-12-04T21:01:31","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T21:01:31","slug":"does-the-fusaka-upgrade-put-a-floor-on-ethereum-prices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=61990","title":{"rendered":"Does The Fusaka Upgrade Put A Floor On Ethereum Prices?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/Opinion\/25\/12\/49207013\/ethereum-improvement-proposals-for-2026-what-they-mean-for-fees-and-scalability\">Fusaka upgrade <\/a>to Ethereum (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/ETH-USD\">Crypto: ETH<\/a>) seems to be loved by developers who use the world&#8217;s leading blockchain, and traditional finance, which is increasingly warming up to it.<\/p>\n<p>Crypto currency investors view Fusaka as a strategic milestone for Ethereum. <strong>Fidelity Digital Assets<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fidelitydigitalassets.com\/research-and-insights\/fusaka-upgrade-scaling-meets-value-accrual#:~:text=investors%2C%20this%20opens%20the%20door,level%20economics\" rel=\"nofollow\">calls <\/a>Fusaka &#8220;the most compelling upgrade in years,&#8221; marking a &#8220;strategic and economic turning point&#8221; for Ethereum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>VanEck<\/strong>&#8216;s crypto research <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaneck.com\/us\/en\/blogs\/digital-assets\/matthew-sigel-vaneck-crypto-monthly-recap-for-september-2025\/#:~:text=Ethereum%E2%80%99s%20scaling%20roadmap%20is%20entering,bottlenecks%3A%20data%20availability%20for%20rollups\" rel=\"nofollow\">said <\/a>in a note on Oct. 3 that Fusaka&#8217;s role in scaling Ethereum&#8217;s ecosystem was &#8220;entering its next phase. The Fusaka upgrade\u2026is designed to relieve one of the network&#8217;s most pressing bottlenecks: data availability for rollups.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rollups are faster, cheaper &#8220;mini-blockchains&#8221; built on top of Ethereum. They bundle transactions together and settle them securely on the main blockchain, in this case \u2014 the Ethereum blockchain.<\/p>\n<p>Developers like the upgrade, which is an important signal to Ethereum investors. If developers are not happy, investors will sell in favor of the alternatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fusaka represents meaningful progress toward Ethereum\u2019s giga-gas future, pushing the gas limit from 45 million to 60 million (units of computation),&#8221; said <strong>Mo Dong<\/strong>, a computer scientist PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana\u2011Champaign and current CEO and Co-Founder of <strong>Brevis.<\/strong> &#8220;As throughput scales, zkVMs (zero knowledge virtual machines) become essential infrastructure,&#8221; he said. Brevis is a zero-knowledge (ZK) data-proof and computation platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A zero knowledge virtual machine is a computer system that verifies if actions on the system executed a set of instructions correctly.
