Poland crypto industry scored a major win this week, as plans to move ahead with new crypto rules <\/span>stalled<\/span><\/a> on Friday after lawmakers failed to override President Andrzej Duda\u2019s veto. <\/span>The setback slows Prime Minister Donald Tusk\u2019s effort to align national policy with the European Union\u2019s MiCA framework.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Sejm, Poland\u2019s lower house, fell 18 votes short of the three-fifths majority needed to reverse the president\u2019s decision.\u00a0<\/span>With the veto standing, Tusk\u2019s coalition must restart the entire process if it wants to establish a formal regulatory system for digital assets.<\/span><\/p>\n
