Gemini Space Station, Inc.<\/strong>\u00a0(NASDAQ:<\/a>GEMI<\/a>) disclosed Wednesday that its subsidiary,\u00a0Gemini Titan, LLC<\/strong>, has been cleared by the regulators to offer prediction markets to U.S. customers.<\/p>\n

Gemini Enters Prediction Market Landscape<\/h2>\n

Gemini Titan received a Designated Contract Market license by\u00a0the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the company said in a press release.<\/p>\n

This license will enable Gemini\u2019s U.S. customers to engage\u00a0in prediction markets by trading\u00a0event contracts on Gemini’s web\u00a0interface using the funds in\u00a0their Gemini account. <\/p>\n

To begin with, Gemini will offer contracts that are simple \u201cYes\u201d or \u201cNo\u201d questions about future events.<\/p>\n

Winkelvoss Thanks Trump<\/h2>\n

Gemini first applied for a DCM license in March 2020.<\/p>\n
