Renowned economist\u00a0Peter Schiff<\/strong>\u00a0predicted on Wednesday that Strategy Inc.<\/strong>\u00a0(NASDAQ:<\/a>MSTR<\/a>) shares will halve to $80 from the current $160, while setting a $50,000 downside target for Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Schiff Predicts Bloodbath For MSTR, Bitcoin<\/h2>\n

In an X post, Schiff expressed his bearish outlook on the world\u2019s largest Bitcoin holding company. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s hard to find a\u00a0chart that looks worse than\u00a0Strategy\u2019s\u00a0MSTR,\u201d Schiff said. \u201cAt a minimum, the\u00a0stock should drop to about\u00a0$80, which is half its\u00a0current price.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schiff also set $50,000 as Bitcoin\u2019s \u201cminimum target,\u201d warning that MSTR\u2019s drop won\u2019t occur unless the leading cryptocurrency experiences a major decline first. <\/p>\n

For context, Bitcoin traded at these levels back in Feb. 2024.<\/p>\n

It’s hard to find a chart that looks worse than $MSTR<\/a>. At a minimum, the stock should drop to about $80, which is half its current price. It’s hard to imagine MSTR dropping that much …<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n
