However, the cross-border token still remains up 6.6% over the past week and has <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/payment-tokens-xrp-and-xlm-surge-in-new-year-altcoin-rally\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">gained<\/a> a whopping 340% over the past three months.<\/p>\n<p>XRP remains around 34% down from its peak price of $3.40, which came seven years ago this week.<\/p>\n<p>Chainlink\u2019s LINK took a huge 11.7% hit, falling from $23.50 to $20.5 at the time of writing as altcoins got hammered in the market correction.
