According to the official <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/notice-of-removal-of-margin-trading-pairs-2025-01-16-9a044a0ff8bd4134ba202b9e8e506d58\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">announcement<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, LIT\/BTC, NULS\/BTC, SFP\/BTC,<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">BEL\/BTC, LIT\/BTC, LSK\/BTC, NULS\/BTC, and SFP\/BTC will become unavailable to clients <\/span>from January 16<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cEffective immediately, users will no longer be able to transfer any amount of assets of the <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">aforementioned pair<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">(s) via manual transfers and Auto-Transfer Mode into their Isolated Margin accounts. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">If users hold outstanding liabilities of said tokens, <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">these users<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> may only manually transfer up to the amount of liabilities of that token into their Isolated Margin accounts, less any collateral already available,\u201d the company explained.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Additionally, Binance will <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.binance.com\/en\/support\/announcement\/notice-of-removal-of-spot-trading-pairs-2025-01-10-5283cba1003240e8829afa803ce7815c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">delist<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the spot trading pairs AXL\/FDUSD, C98\/BTC, and ENJ\/ETH <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on January 10<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The company periodically conducts such amendments \u201cto protect users and maintain a high-quality trading market.\u201d It <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">takes several factors into consideration<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> when removing trading pairs, including poor liquidity and trading volume.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Withdrawing support from a major crypto exchange like Binance typically <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">has a negative effect on<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> the prices of the affected digital assets since it causes reputational damage and limited accessibility (among other setbacks). <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Literally, all involved cryptocurrencies<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> in the delisting efforts have headed south in the past 24 hours, with many experiencing double-digit declines.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It is worth noting that the correction of the broader digital asset market could have also contributed to their poor performance. Recall that Bitcoin (BTC) soared above $102,000 on January 7, but several hours later, it nosedived by more than seven grand. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Currently, it trades at around $95,500, while Ethereum (ETH) plunged below $3,400.
