Cryptocurrency behemoth Binance <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>BNB<\/a>) on Wednesday denied issuing any legal threats against an individual who alleged the cryptocurrency exchange was insolvent and played a part in the October crypto flash crash<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Allegations Against Binance<\/h2>\n

An X user, going by the pseudonym Lewsiphur<\/strong>, said they received a cease-and-desist notice from Binance, a day after accusing the world\u2019s largest cryptocurrency exchange of insolvency and being \u201csolely responsible\u201d for the Oct. 10 event that triggered the cryptocurrency market\u2019s largest-ever liquidation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really want to expose everything I was told from credible resources but I can’t risk a legal battle,\u201d Lewsiphur said.<\/p>\n

Binance denied sending the notice, calling the letter a \u201cforgery with a very active imagination.\u201d <\/p>\n

X users added a community note to Lewsiphur\u2019s post, stating, \u201cThe author of the post fabricated a cease and desist letter to promote a false narrative about Binance and advance his own casino affiliation.\u201d<\/p>\n
