{"id":71804,"date":"2026-02-10T19:46:31","date_gmt":"2026-02-10T19:46:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=71804"},"modified":"2026-02-10T19:46:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T19:46:31","slug":"michael-saylor-says-strategy-wont-sell-bitcoin-even-at-8000-well-refinance-the-debt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=71804","title":{"rendered":"Michael Saylor Says Strategy Won&#8217;t Sell Bitcoin Even At $8,000: &#8216;We&#8217;ll Refinance The Debt&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Strategy<\/strong> <a class=\"ticker-link\" data-ticker=\"MSTR\" data-exchange=\"NASDAQ\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/MSTR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(NASDAQ:<\/a><a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/MSTR\">MSTR<\/a>) executive chairman <strong>Michael Saylor<\/strong> on Tuesday said the company won\u2019t sell <strong>Bitcoin<\/strong> <a class=\"ticker-link\" data-ticker=\"BTC\" data-exchange=\"CRYPTO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/BTC-USD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(CRYPTO: <\/a><a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/btc\/usd\">BTC<\/a>) even if it crashes to $8,000, pledging to refinance debt instead.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The $8,000 Refinancing Pledge<\/h3>\n<p>Saylor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/video\/2026\/02\/10\/strategys-michael-saylor-we-wont-be-selling-bitcoin-well-be-buying-every-quarter-forever.html\">told<\/a> CNBC the company has 2.5 years of cash to cover dividends and debt without raising money.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When pressed on what happens if Bitcoin falls 90% and stays there for four years, Saylor said \u201cwe\u2019ll refinance the debt.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On credit risk concerns, Saylor dismissed worries about forced selling.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Bitcoin falls to $8,000, we\u2019ll just refinance the debt. If you think it\u2019s going to zero, we\u2019ll deal with that.
