Renowned investor Kevin O’Leary<\/strong> said Monday that fears over quantum computing would deter institutional investors from increasing exposure to Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Will Quantum Computing Slow Down Institutional Investment?<\/h2>\n

O’Leary took to X, adding a clip from his recent interview with Fox Business, where he revealed he\u2019s still long on Bitcoin but that quantum computing risks have started to rattle some investors.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea that a quantum computer could eventually break the chain is making institutions hesitate, and until that gets resolved, don’t expect them to go beyond a 3% allocation,\u201d the \u201cShark Tank\u201d star said.<\/p>\n

Notably, BlackRock<\/strong>, the world\u2019s largest asset management company,\u00a0recommends a Bitcoin allocation of\u00a01% to 2%<\/a> in multi-asset portfolios.<\/p>\n
