That self-audit arrives as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/crypto\/cryptocurrency\/26\/02\/50369889\/michael-burry-bitcoin-has-no-organic-use-case-to-stop-its-descent\">Bitcoin lacks utility<\/a> remains central to his current framework, with Burry arguing the token has not proven durable as a hedge against currency debasement.<\/p>\n<p>In the post, Burry shared about his missed opportunity with crypto, writing that he considered buying <strong>Bitcoin<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/BTC-USD\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"ticker-link\" data-ticker=\"BTC\" data-exchange=\"CRYPTO\" rel=\"noopener\">(CRYPTO: <\/a><a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/btc\/usd\">BTC<\/a>) in 2013 after meeting a friend at Lightspeed but did not follow through. <\/p>\n<p>Burry also shared that he was short Amazon.com at the top in 2000, then flipped to a heavy small-cap value stance later that year.
