Pudgy Penguins has launched its long-teased browser-based crypto game, \u201cPudgy World\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a post made on the social network X on March 10<\/a>, the CCO and Co-Founder of Pudgy Penguins, known as Chefgoyardi, announced the long waited release of \u201cPudgy World\u201d. In the post, he shared a detailed summary of the designing process of the game. \u201cWe created custom world-building tools using open-source web technology, giving us a lightweight editor built for speed and rapid iteration.\u201d, he explained.<\/p>\n

Self expression, creative freedom and community building seem to be the driving forces behind the game, as the Pudgy\u2019s ethos consists in the creation of an \u201cexperience intuitive for everyone, including people who have never picked up a game before\u201d. Chef added:<\/p>\n

Our asset pipeline lets artists work in Maya, Cinema4D, or Blender while custom Houdini scripts automatically convert everything into a web-optimized format. Creative freedom without compromise.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The game is free\u2011to\u2011play, runs in the browser with no download, and lets players explore 12 different towns in \u201cThe Berg,\u201d complete quests to help a penguin named Pengu find Polly, and join mini\u2011games as customizable penguin avatars.<\/p>\n

A \u201cNo-Crypto\u201d Crypto Game<\/h2>\n

The first impressions of some players describe the game as \u201cvery accessible\u201d, as it was structured to \u201crun directly on PC without needing a separate instalation\u201d. X user Namnin<\/a> gave a detailed explanation on the gameplay experience, describing it as a cute, very casual game, \u201ceasy to play while doing quests with friends or family\u201d.<\/p>\n

When you start the game, you choose your own penguin. You can do some basic customization, including color, costume, and accessories. You will travel the world with this penguin. The main setting of the game is \u2018THE BERG,\u2019 a huge map with an Antarctic island concept. From here, you can travel to various towns. Portal movement is possible.
