{"id":75861,"date":"2026-03-11T13:18:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-11T13:18:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=75861"},"modified":"2026-03-11T13:18:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T13:18:13","slug":"bank-of-england-may-consider-revising-stablecoin-regulations-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=75861","title":{"rendered":"Bank of England May Consider Revising Stablecoin Regulations: Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The Deputy Governor of the Bank of England, Sarah Breeden, has reportedly said she has been disappointed by the lack of constructive engagement on the bank\u2019s proposed rules to regulate stablecoins pegged to the British pound.<\/p>\n<p>She <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/finance\/bank-england-open-revising-stablecoin-rules-breeden-says-2026-03-11\">said<\/a> that the institution has been \u201cgenuinely open\u201d to changing its proposals.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that the proposed regulatory regimen planned to ensure that sterling-denominated stablecoins remain safe and redeemable at face value.
