Just yesterday, US President Trump bragged that Iran was \u201cbegging\u201d to make a deal and even sent 10 ships with oil as a \u201cpresent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Today, though, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KobeissiLetter\/status\/2037327964371575050\">emerged<\/a> claiming that the US is mulling sending up to 10,000 additional ground troops to the region to give Trump \u201cmore military options.\u201d They will be added to the 5,000 marines and the \u201cthousands of paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although the report doesn\u2019t clarify where the forces will be placed in the Middle East, they will likely be within striking distance of Iran and Kharg Island. This adds to another claim from yesterday that the Pentagon was <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/btc-dips-further-as-pentagon-reportedly-prepares-massive-final-blow-against-iran\/\">preparing<\/a> to carry out a massive \u201cfinal blow\u201d against Iran.<\/p>\n<h2>Sentiment Back to FUD<\/h2>\n<p>Crypto sentiment has been deep in an \u2018extreme fear\u2019 state for weeks, but there was a short-lived revival in the middle of the week when BTC jumped to $72,000.
