Ethereum<\/strong> (CRYPTO: <\/a>ETH<\/a>) has outperformed the S&P 500<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>SPY<\/a>) by 17% on a relative basis since the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran began in late February, with Fundstrat\u2019s Tom Lee<\/strong> calling crypto a better wartime store of value than gold.<\/p>\n

The Wartime Performance<\/h3>\n

Ethereum has outperformed all major global market benchmarks since the Iran conflict started, including Bitcoin<\/strong> (CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>), gold, real estate, MSCI World Energy, and Magnificent 7 tech stocks, according to Fundstrat\u2019s March research report.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a wartime store of value, crypto looks a lot stronger,\u201d said Lee, who chairs Bitmine Immersion Technologies<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>BMNR<\/a>) and serves as head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cCrypto has been outperforming since the war started while gold has actually underperformed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
