Another 40 million token scoop followed a week later, as reported. Martinez noted yesterday that they had continued acquiring more XRP, adding 190 million additional coins once again in a 7-day timeframe.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">190 million <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24XRP&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$XRP<\/a> have been accumulated by whales over the past week. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8B8lffm3qV\">pic.twitter.com\/8B8lffm3qV<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ali Charts (@alicharts) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alicharts\/status\/2038587544267346231?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 30, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s not just <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/retail-investors-abandoned-xrp-but-ripple-whales-have-stepped-up-analyst\/\">whales\u2019 behavior<\/a> that should increase the XRP Army\u2019s confidence levels. The company behind the token has made the headlines in the past month or so, scoring big partnerships, applying for key licenses, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-thrives-xrp-lags-when-will-the-price-catch-up-chatgpt-maps-out-breakout-timeline\/\">announcing<\/a> expansion plans to several jurisdictions, including Australia, Brazil, and Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>During a recent interview after a conference held in Miami, Ripple\u2019s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, also <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/brad-garlinghouse-improving-xrp-has-become-ripples-north-star\/\">praised<\/a> the firm\u2019s progress over the past year, especially since it acquired Hidden Road and GTreasury. He noted that the former, now known as Ripple Prime, has tripled its revenue rates since the acquisition last year, while Ripple Treasury, as it\u2019s now called, is \u201cway ahead of our forecast for both the end of last year, but also in Q1, we are going to have a record quarter.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>XRP Still Drops, Though<\/h2>\n<p>Despite all the positive developments taking place within the broader Ripple ecosystem, the native token continues to struggle. It\u2019s down by 64% since its all-time high in July last year, and by nearly 30% YTD. The past week brought another 7% decline, while the last 24 hours have solidified XRP\u2019s weakness against BNB.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps one of the reasons behind the asset\u2019s inability to stage a notable recovery is the fact that ETF investors have largely <a href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/ripple-xrp-etfs-turn-into-a-ghost-town-bitcoin-btc-funds-begin-macro-recovery\/\">stopped accumulating<\/a>, as most of the past few weeks have seen negligible numbers.
