{"id":78708,"date":"2026-04-02T05:18:48","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T05:18:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=78708"},"modified":"2026-04-02T05:18:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T05:18:48","slug":"bitcoin-falls-to-66k-as-trump-signals-further-escalation-in-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=78708","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin Falls to $66K as Trump Signals Further Escalation in Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Bitcoin prices fell below $67,000 on Thursday morning, dropping to $66,770 following Donald Trump\u2019s latest update on the war with Iran.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are on track to complete all of America\u2019s military objectives shortly, very shortly,\u201d the President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/world\/trump-warns-us-will-hit-iran-extremely-hard-over-next-two-to-three-weeks\/ar-AA1ZX7gd\">said<\/a> at the White House on Wednesday. \u201cWe\u2019re going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The POTUS said that the US imports almost no oil through the Hormuz Strait and will not be taking any in the future.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cBetween threatening Iran\u2019s power plants, saying the Iran War would last 2-3 more weeks, and calling out NATO, there was nothing new,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KobeissiLetter\/status\/2039521619538747735\">observed<\/a> the Kobeissi Letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYet, the market is now trading like the Iran war is ramping up for another month-long escalation. Why? Because he didn\u2019t explicitly de-escalate.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Selling Pressure Remains High<\/h2>\n<p>While crypto and stock futures tanked, oil prices surged back over $100 per barrel again, further pressuring the economies of nations that rely on the Middle East for their fuel supplies.<\/p>\n<p>Zooming out shows that Bitcoin is still in the middle of its two-month range-bound channel, and there hasn\u2019t been any major panic selling since early February.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/16.0.1\/72x72\/1f6a8.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udea8\" class=\"wp-smiley\" style=\"height: 1em; max-height: 1em;\">Markets after Trump\u2019s address.<\/p>\n<p>No ceasefire, 2-3 more weeks of war and strait of Hormuz stays closed.<\/p>\n<p>Nasdaq down 1.40% to 23,758.<br \/>\nBitcoin down 2.28% to $67,202.<br \/>\nGold down 2.90% to $4,692.<\/p>\n<p>Oil up 6% to $103.51.<br \/>\nStraight up from $98 in one move.<\/p>\n<p>Everything that was\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CubY55u3fg\">pic.twitter.com\/CubY55u3fg<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Bull Theory (@BullTheoryio) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BullTheoryio\/status\/2039520714357903400?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 2, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>However, CryptoQuant <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/cryptoquant_com\/status\/2039404511672807655\">observed<\/a> that Bitcoin whales have flipped from buyers to sellers.\u00a0Holders of wallets containing 1,000 to 10,000 BTC are now distributing, with 1-year holdings falling 188,000 BTC after more than 200,000 BTC of accumulation in 2024, it noted.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t short-term.
