The startup is reportedly close to securing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/markets\/private-markets\/26\/04\/51901426\/ai-coding-startup-cursor-set-for-2-billion-funding-round-nearly-doubling-valuation-with-nvidia-backing-report\">at least $2 billion in fresh capital<\/a> at a $50 billion pre-money valuation.<\/p>\n<p>Under SBF, FTX and associated companies took stakes in several technology startups, including AI company\u00a0<strong>Anthropic<\/strong>, <strong>Robinhood Markets<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/HOOD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(NASDAQ:<\/a><a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/HOOD\">HOOD<\/a>), <strong>K5 Global,<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/markets\/cryptocurrency\/22\/11\/29710067\/disgraced-ftx-ceo-bankman-fried-also-invested-in-elon-musks-spacex-the-boring-company\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">which had investments<\/a>\u00a0in <strong>SpaceX<\/strong> and cryptocurrency project <strong>Solana <\/strong><a class=\"ticker-link\" data-ticker=\"SOL\" data-exchange=\"CRYPTO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/SOL-USD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(CRYPTO: <\/a><a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/sol\/usd\">SOL<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The bankruptcy of FTX led to the company\u00a0selling off most of these assets.
