{"id":88036,"date":"2026-04-30T06:01:36","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T06:01:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=88036"},"modified":"2026-04-30T06:01:36","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T06:01:36","slug":"elizabeth-warren-criticizes-trump-familys-reported-crypto-ties-with-entity-linked-to-sanctioned-individuals","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dogewisperer.com\/?p=88036","title":{"rendered":"Elizabeth Warren Criticizes Trump Family&#8217;s Reported Crypto Ties With Entity Linked To Sanctioned Individuals"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Sen.\u00a0<strong>Elizabeth Warren<\/strong>\u00a0(D-Mass.)\u00a0raised concerns on Wednesday about the reported links between the Trump family\u2019s cryptocurrency company, <strong>World Liberty Financial<\/strong>, and a venture allegedly linked to sanctioned individuals.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WLFI\u2019s Links With AB Chain Under Scanner<\/h2>\n<p>In an X post, Warren pointed to a Wall Street Journal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/business\/crypto-venture-linked-to-men-sanctioned-in-scam-ring-probe-partnered-with-trump-firm-c33ce3a5?mod=e2tw\">report <\/a>highlighting World Liberty Financial\u2019s <strong>USD1<\/strong> stablecoin deployment on a little-known blockchain network called <strong>AB Chain<\/strong> back in November 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The report subsequently highlighted how AB promoted a planned \u201cblockchain theme resort in Timor-Leste, a Southeast Asian nation, to advance blockchain technology and philanthropic initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>However, a subsequent investigation revealed that the planned resort involved individuals later sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury amid a crackdown on Cambodia\u2019s <strong>Prince Group<\/strong>\u2014a conglomerate accused of running <a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/crypto\/cryptocurrency\/25\/11\/48778796\/china-accuses-us-of-13-billion-bitcoin-state-backed-crypto-heist\">one of the world\u2019s largest online scam operations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.occrp.org\/en\/investigation\/politically-connected-crypto-project-pursued-resort-with-alleged-scam-syndicate-figures\">investigation <\/a>by the Guardian and Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project found no evidence directly connecting AB to the Prince Group or that illicit funds flowed into the resort project.
