He won eventually, all thanks to <strong>Bitcoin <\/strong><a class=\"ticker-link\" data-ticker=\"BTC\" data-exchange=\"CRYPTO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/BTC-USD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(CRYPTO: <\/a><a class=\"ticker\" href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/quote\/btc\/usd\">BTC<\/a>).<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Journey To A Million In BTC<\/h2>\n<p>When Finman was just 12, his grandmother gave him $1,000 for college savings, which he instead put into Bitcoin. This was back in 2011, when Bitcoin hovered around $10, fetching him nearly 100 BTC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI kept buying and growing, and you make your best to predict,\u201d Finman said in a podcast in November 2025. \u201cA lot of it was, you know, just doing what I could as a teenager to pull in money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin then showed its magic, skyrocketing to $16,000 by 2017.
