Morgan Stanley<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>MS<\/a>) is rolling out cryptocurrency trading on its E*Trade platform charging 50 basis points per transaction, undercutting Coinbase<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>COIN<\/a>), Robinhood<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>HOOD<\/a>), and Charles Schwab<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>SCHW<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The Pricing War Begins<\/h3>\n

Morgan Stanley\u2019s 50-basis-point fee is about half of Robinhood\u2019s 95 basis points. Coinbase charges 60 basis points, while Schwab announced 75 basis points last month.<\/p>\n

The offering<\/a> is in pilot now, with all of E*Trade\u2019s 8.6 million clients set to gain access later this year. The platform will start with Bitcoin<\/strong> (CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>), Ether<\/strong> (CRYPTO: <\/a>ETH<\/a>), and Solana<\/strong> (CRYPTO: <\/a>SOL<\/a>).<\/p>\n
