There, she counseled incoming SEC Chair Paul Atkins, providing legal advice on various regulatory matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Four years later, in 2008, she joined the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
