U.S. stock futures fell on Monday after Friday\u2019s higher close. This followed President Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2018s rejection of Iran\u2019s response to a U.S.-backed peace proposal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump took to Truth Social and wrote, \u201cI have just read the response \u2026 I don\u2019t like it \u2014 TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!<\/a>\u201d <\/p>\n

On the economic front, investors will be looking out for the crucial consumer price and producer price indexes\u2019 reports this week. Companies like Cisco Systems Inc. <\/strong>(NASDAQ:<\/a>CSCO<\/a>), Alibaba Group Holding ADR<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>BABA<\/a>), Applied Materials Inc.<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>AMAT<\/a>), and Hims & Hers Health Inc. <\/strong>(NASDAQ:<\/a>HIMS<\/a>) will report earnings this week.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.38%, and the two-year bond was at 3.92%. The CME Group’s FedWatch tool<\/a>\u2018s projections show markets pricing a 93.6% likelihood of the Federal Reserve leaving the current interest rates unchanged during June\u2019s meeting. <\/p>\n

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>SPY<\/a>) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>QQQ<\/a>), which track the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, respectively, were lower in premarket on Monday. The SPY was down 0.16% at $736.47, while the QQQ declined 0.17% to $709.85.<\/p>\n
