Crypto Tokens Dip Overnight<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bitcoin <\/strong>dropped under\u00a0 $81,000 during evening hours, struggling against firm resistance at $82,000.<\/strong> Ethereum <\/strong>also slid below $2,300, while XRP <\/strong>and Dogecoin <\/strong>moved sideways.<\/p>\n

Cryptocurrency-related stocks rose, with Strategy Inc.<\/strong> (NASDAQ:<\/a>MSTR<\/a>) and Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc.<\/strong> (NYSE:<\/a>BMNR<\/a>) closing up 4.45% and 3.83%, respectively.<\/p>\n

Over $250 million was liquidated in the past 24 hours, predominantly in long positions, according <\/a>to Coinglass data.<\/p>\n

That said, roughly $330 million in Bitcoin shorts were at risk of liquidation if the apex cryptocurrency reclaimed $83,000.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s retail and whale traders continued to bet on its price decline, placing more shorts than longs. Market sentiment remained “Neutral,” according <\/a>to the Crypto Fear & Greed Index.<\/p>\n
