BitMine Immersion Technologies Inc.<\/strong>\u00a0(NYSE:<\/a>BMNR<\/a>) Chair\u00a0Tom Lee<\/strong> said on Monday that the \u201ccryptocurrency winter\u201d is nearing its end, paving the way for a \u201ccryptocurrency spring.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why Lee Thinks Crypto Winter Is Over<\/h2>\n

In his latest message to shareholders, Lee stated that an Ethereum <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>ETH<\/a>) close above $2,100 in May would mark three straight months of gains for the cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s never been a crypto winter where Ethereum has closed up three consecutive months in a row,\u201d the Wall Street analyst said. \u201cIn other words, the fact that we\u2019re up three months in a row means crypto winter is over.\u201d<\/p>\n

That said, Lee acknowledged the \u201cfog of war\u201d caused by the geopolitical pressures<\/a> of the Iran conflict.<\/p>\n
