Epstein recognized crypto\u2019s potential as a tool to covertly facilitate illicit payments,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>The Massachusetts senator argued the amendment would share sunlight on what bank supervisors knew and what banks might have known about Epstein\u2019s activities.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. <strong>Cynthia Lummis<\/strong> (R-Wyo.) quickly countered that \u201cconfidential supervisory information is not germane to digital asset market structure.\u201d The vote failed 11-13.<\/p>\n<p>Sen.<strong> John Kennedy<\/strong> (R-KY) said afterward he would vote in &#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.benzinga.com\/crypto\/cryptocurrency\/26\/05\/52569480\/elizabeth-warren-tried-to-tie-coinbase-to-jeffrey-epstein-on-the-senate-floor-heres-what-ha?utm_source=benzinga_taxonomy&amp;utm_medium=rss_feed_free&amp;utm_content=taxonomy_rss&amp;utm_campaign=channel\" alt=\"Elizabeth\" warren tried to tie coinbase jeffrey epstein on the senate floor: here what happened>Full story available on Benzinga.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
