Just a few days ago, the Trump family jumped on the bandwagon, making huge waves in the entire crypto space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On January 18, Donald Trump\u2019s meme coin, Official Trump (TRUMP), <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/donald-trumps-official-meme-coin-cracks-top-40-altcoins-crypto-community-reacts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">saw the light of day<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and shortly after, its price skyrocketed to spectacular levels. It briefly surpassed $70, with its market capitalization soaring past $14.5 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Trump\u2019s wife also <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/trump-token-crashes-over-50-as-melania-trump-launches-meme-coin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">launched<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> a meme coin called Melania Meme (MELANIA), and at one point, its market cap soared above $2 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Despite retracing substantially from their peak levels in the past several days, both tokens <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/trump-and-melania-outshine-doge-in-prominent-rankings-key-insights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">remain<\/span><\/a> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">quite<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> trending. This could explain why scammers have supposedly created numerous websites offering dubious services with TRUMP and MELANIA, with the sole purpose of conning unsuspecting victims.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">According to a recent <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/tass.com\/economy\/1902115\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">report<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, people visiting such malicious addresses <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">are offered<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to connect their wallets to the resource to check their right to participate in transactions with the new tokens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cThe official address of the token <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">is indicated<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> on all websites, but when connecting, the victim <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">is asked<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for the seed phrase from the wallet. <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Fraudsters can also \u201chijack\u201d a crypto wallet or connect malware to withdraw funds,\u201d said Maria Sinitsyna, a<\/span> <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">senior analyst working for a Russian cybersecurity company <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">called F.A.C.C.T<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Is It too Late to Deal With TRUMP?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The impressive price increase of Donald Trump\u2019s meme coin <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cryptopotato.com\/overnight-millionaires-official-trump-success-stories-24-hours-after-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">allowed<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> savvy traders to make huge profits overnight due to entering and eventually exiting the ecosystem at the right time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Currently, TRUMP\u2019s valuation stands far from the peak level registered <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">on January 19<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, suggesting that the hype could have gradually decreased.
