Although SkyBridge Capital<\/strong>\u00a0founder\u00a0Anthony Scaramucci<\/strong> is a passionate Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>) advocate today, there was a time he couldn\u2019t make sense of it at all\u2014despite early exposure to Satoshi-era figures.<\/p>\n

Scaramucci Couldn\u2019t Care Less About BTC At A Time<\/h2>\n

On a podcast with Liz Thomas that aired April 15, Scaramucci revealed that he was introduced to Bitcoin back in 2011 while attending a presentation by Hal Finney<\/strong>, the late software developer who received the first Bitcoin transaction<\/a> from Satoshi Nakamoto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did not understand it,\u201d Scaramucci added. The skepticism stuck around for a while. Fast forward to 2013, Scaramucci took to X, then Twitter, to declare <\/a>that he didn’t know what a Bitcoin was, and couldn’t care less.<\/p>\n

Scaramucci then recalled that he was reintroduced to Bitcoin during a conference in Las Vegas, where the <\/strong>Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss<\/strong>, came over and began telling him about the leading cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

But Scaramucci was still doubtful.<\/p>\n
