Wall Street strategist Tom Lee<\/strong> framed Mark Cuban\u2019s<\/strong> sale of Bitcoin <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>) as a sign of \u201crage-quitting,\u201d the kind of move that, according to him, typically happens at the end of cryptocurrency winter<\/p>\n

A Sign Of Bottom?<\/h2>\n

During an interview with CNBC, Lee partially agreed with Cuban\u2019s rationale that Bitcoin hasn’t acted the way it was supposed to.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Mark is right. Crypto has been disappointing because crypto should move with equity markets, and it should be rallying with software. Software is really starting to rally big, and crypto hasn\u2019t moved,\u201d Lee said.<\/p>\n

However, Fundstrat’s head of research viewed the move as \u201crage quitting\u201d \u2014 people selling because they sense something is \u201cwrong\u201d with cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that\u2019s what always happens at the end of crypto winter,\u201d Lee said.<\/p>\n
