Economist Peter Schiff<\/strong> took a dig on Wednesday at \u201cunqualified\u201d cryptocurrency advisors who mistake Bitcoin’s <\/strong>(CRYPTO: <\/a>BTC<\/a>) early gains as validation of a smart long-term investment.<\/p>\n

Schiff Scoffs At \u2018Young\u2019 Crypto Commentators<\/h2>\n

In an X post, Schiff observed that many \u201cyoung\u201d and \u201cunqualified\u201d individuals in the cryptocurrency industry have begun offering financial advice.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey think they are smart just because they bought into Bitcoin early and made some money,\u201d the Bitcoin critic said.<\/p>\n

To make his point, Schiff referred to one of the most famous pieces of wisdom in investing, \u201cDon\u2019t confuse brains with a bull market,\u201d meaning that investors often mistake a market\u2019s tailwinds for their own personal genius.<\/p>\n
