The Austria-based company had 6 million users in December and will use the license to accelerate its growth, it said. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This milestone enables us to bring easy and safe investing to over 450 million people, unlocking unparalleled growth potential in a market we&#8217;re ready to fully conquer,&#8221; Eric Demuth, CEO and co-founder, said in the statement. <\/p>\n<p>The company joins <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/01\/17\/boerse-stuttgart-digital-lands-mi-ca-license-from-germany\" target=\"_blank\">Boerse Stuttgart Digital<\/a>, which was awarded the first license by the German regulator. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/policy\/2025\/01\/06\/dutch-regulator-awards-eu-mi-ca-license-to-4-companies\" target=\"_blank\">MoonPay<\/a>, BitStaete, ZBD and prime brokerage and clearing company <a href=\"https:\/\/hiddenroad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hidden Road<\/a>, have also received MiCA licenses.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crypto exchange Bitpanda said it secured a markets in crypto assets license (MiCA) from the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
